Semjon Contemporary opens on Sunday April 28 from 1 – 7 pm. Furthermore there will be a guided tour at 3 pm.

The exhibition »It happened tomorrow« by Ute Essig and Henrik U. Müller can be visited the last time on Sunday April 14 from 2 – 4 pm.

The gallery is open for your visit on Easter Saturday.

The auction was a success and ensures the continued existence of the gallery! Many thanks to the 53 artists who helped the gallery with their commitment and trust! I would also like to thank the gallery's collectors and the bidders who made the evening a success. Last, but not least: Jan Maruhn's performance as auctioneer made the auction an experience with charm and aplomb. It was an exciting event that will not soon be forgotten!

Participation of Ursula Sax in the exhibition "Oh clouds, oh storms, oh winds... Art in the storm", Kunsthalle Wilhelmshaven; 9.12.2023 - 18.2.2024; Opening: Friday, December 8, 6 pm. One or more originals of the "Wind sculptures" by Ursula Sax from the 1980s will be shown in the Kunsthalle itself and some new productions will be placed in the urban space of Wilhelmshaven.

During the Berlin Art Week, the gallery is open from Friday 15 to Saturday 16 September. Likewise, we open for you on Sunday from 2 – 5 pm. Artist Dittmar Danner aka Krüger, whose exhibition "You want it darker - let's kill the flame!" is currently on view, will be at the gallery for you on Saturday and Sunday. You can also visit us at Positions Berlin Art Fair. We will be showing "Semjon Contemporary Women!" there.

On Saturday, September 9, at 3 p.m. there will be an artist talk (in German) with Dittmar Danner aka Krüger. Semjon H. N. Semjon will lead through the conversation. Registration is requested by September 8.

The special exhibition »TWO-TIMES-EIGHTY-EIGHT – CIRCULAR ENCOUNTER« can be seen through the gallery window until August 20 (the gallery light is on daily from 11 am – 9 pm). As well as KioskShop berlin (KSb). Summer break until August 24.

Michael Kutschbach, who has been living in Adelaide/AU again since 2016, will conduct the two-week "University South Of Australia Bauhaus Tour" in Weimar and in Berlin with students he supervises as a Lecturer in the South Australian School of Art, together with his colleague Katica Oedesic from the Architecture Department. Parallel to the current main exhibition "Mutter" by MK Kaehne, the intervention exhibition "XXX-03" by Ellinor Euler can be seen next door (and connected to each other) at KioskShop berlin (KSb).
